Right Iv'e got the newer headlights with the clear indicators on and need to change a sidelight bulb. been looking and it looks as if I have to take the whole assembly out just to get at a sidelight bulb. Is this correct and if so do I need to take the front bumper off as Iv'e undone the 2 screws and it still wont budge and Iv'e had a look at the rave c.d and it doesn't seem to cover headlight removal. Anyone got any ideas?

You do not need to remove any light assembly at all.

The sidelight bulbs are fitted underneath the headlight dipped beam bulb and are accessed through the same easy removed grey plastic disc. Depending on the size of your fingers it may be easier to take out the h/light bulb to get at the side light bulb below it.

The indicators are the tricky ones - to replace them you need to approach from the back - there is a little inspection hatch in the plastic wing inner liner.

If you want to open the hatch be careful not to push the little peg/pin of what LR call a 'scrivet' too far in as it will disappear for ever inside the wing.

Cheers sing. There's a wiring block just to the left of the disc and I thought that's what was going into the side lights. Will whip the disc off and grab it and get one while I'm out.
