By the sound of it, you need a resync. Callrova is your man. Get your battery tested first before anything .

Once you get the vehicle started by re-synching using whichever method (SyncMate tool or Faultmate/Testbook et al) then I would urge you to replace the RF transceiver....

One of the chief reasons for unknown flat batteries, is the fact the Central Locking and Alarm RF Transceiver keeps picking up odd signals from close by transmitters/Radio ariels/Mobile Phone masts/Petrol Stations(!) even wireless door bells have been known to cause issues.....

This spurious signal wakes up the BeCM to check if it is the Remote Fob being pressed...the BeCM stays 'awake' for 3 minutes drawing a couple of amps from the battery, then goes back to sleep again, then if another signal is picked up it wakes up again for another 3 minutes.....if the signal persists, the BeCM stays awake all the time and that 2-3 amps drain will be enough to render the battery to weak to start the car within a few hours.

There are two fixes - one is considered temporary, the other permanat (to a degree)

Temporary Fix - Remove the blue Ariel connection to the current RF Transciever to reduce it sensitivity - the fob will only work when right next to the vehicle

Permenant Fix - Land Rover revised the RF Transciever due to this problem so get your self the newer version.

Let us know how you get on.

As the lights are flashing it could also be that the driver door lock has failed and the becm is looking for a signal from the passenger door and the ecu is in French setting very coman

Problem sorted. it was the drivers door latch witch i replaced and all is ok now. total cost of 300GBP. mechanic came out to look at first and then returned to fit the latch next day. expensive? what do you think?
