Hello to the forum!

I live in Germany and want to buy a LHD Landy 110 Diesel

Looking for some buying help, guide, or tips as I know very little......:(

Have found a 2008 110 E with low kms, 1 owner with a service history :D, will go an look at it on Monday. Its from Spain, so will have to re register the car in Germany. Any tips on what to look for would be more than :welcome2:

Many cars seem to come to Germany from this dealer in south of Spain, dont know why they have some many white defenders

Fahrzeuge Martin Rojas s.c.p. - Land Rover Defender 110 Hard Top E - als Gebrauchtfahrzeug im Angebot.

Thanks

Hi Hans, First Make sure it is a Landrove 110....NOT a SANTANA....A 2008 110 could be a Puma engine (Ford Transit Van derivative) or a left-over TD5 so better to check.
Most of the Spanish Registered vehicles have been bought by ex-patriots to use in their holiday environment..........so be sure they have not used it to launch and recover their speed boats.Check carefully underneath for Corrosion to rear crossmember and axle casing. My advice would be to buy a Landrover Owner International magazine and check out the vehicles on offer. There are some good deals available and if you are patient you may find a bargain.

I live in Spain, and have just bought a defender from "Martin Rojas"

Ive had a good experience with them, and the defender has no problems
(though only had it a few days :))

Yhey are LR, they are not santanas.
They have so many and they are all white because most (or perhaps all?) come from the same source - not expats, and nothing to do with speed boats.

if you visit spain, you will be able to guess the source, but i'll pm you anyway.
