DIY diff locker!!!

Sorry if this is a re-post but i was looking around for lockers and i stumbled upon this. Im not sure if this chappie is serious - but i hope not.

How could anyone think this would work!

That is classic...

It looks like he was hoping to create a situation where the sun gears and planet gears would all be locked together.

All he did here was create torque nightmare because although you can lock a diff, it would not be locked there!!!

But your diff would be perminently locked...

yup, done that meself for years, years ago when racing bangers, stock cars & hot rods..
had a ready made choice of 3.5 3.7 3.9 4.1 & 4.4 ratios for early ford axles...
came unstuck once though when I tried locking up a mini rod diff for a bumpy track, it just kept breaking drive shafts!
