UPDATE - Thanks a lot photobucket!! I'll update all the photos on this thread soon so that they show again. What a pain in the ass.

This is my new project. Sold the 200tdi 90 as it just didnt have the room for all my camping stuff and bikes etc. Had it for a year and loved it. The new project is currently nicknamed "The Rat" by the Mrs but I love it already. Its absolutely rot free! Plan is to tidy it up a bit and hoepfully soone than later get a 200tdi fitted for a little more power.

The new 110 - Bought direct from Withams ex mod sales. Got to say how impressed I was with their service. Loads and loads of defenders to pick from. Registered it for me, setup MOT and tax etc. All I had to do was pick and collect 2 weeks later when I got back from holiday.

The new 110 as I collected

First job was to pressure wash and clean. Including cleaning the chassis and canvas. Also moved the wheels and tyres from my 90

Next job was to get rid of the standard military seats and fit some better ones. Found a bargain on ebay and fitted them same day

Chassis has already been cleaned and painted (no photos) Next job starting tomorrow is a rub down and paint to plain nato green. Also to do is some sound proofing as its bloody loud! Will update this thread with progress.

Looking good, it's amazing just how much cooler it looks with the modulars / chunky tyres fitted. Can I ask how much you paid for it?

Picked this up for £2850 plus vat. Also add on price to MOT, tax, register. For this money you can expect a solid chassis/bulkhead etc. I think you can pick up crappers for about £1500. They did have some that needed a lot more work. Holes in bulkhead etc for cheaper.

That's a fantastic price. How much is it to register?

Spent the last few days rubbing down and painting. Here's the before and after. Mostly painted with gloss foam roller but some was done with a rattle can. Not the best job in the world but I'm happy with it. This will keep it looking a little smarter until I decide what colour to do it next summer. I plan to rub it down further and spray it properly then. You can also see some of the painted chassis in one of the photos. Colour is NATO satin green. It's not fully dry in the photos.
Before - (obviously)

It's NATO green satin. To be honest it looks a bit darker than I thought it would be. I like it though
