Hi all,

A little help please if possible, I have recently had the rear (in tank) fuel pump changed as the engine would not start.

Now when starting the Engine Management Light comes on after about 2 or 3 minutes of running, but more worrying is that when I switch off, the engine runs on for a couple of seconds.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks, Mick

Probably wasn't the fuel pump that was the main fault more the ECU get a diagnostic plugged in

Isnt your car a Td4? so i'm guessing you either mean intank sender, or in wheel arch fuelpump? Although obviously you dont mention how old your car is.... ?

The most common reason ive seen Td4's to run on is due to a sticky fuel regulator solenoid that bolts onto the back of the HP Pump.

Though random guess is random guess.
