Running 18" wheels with 255x55x18 fullrun tyres.
It's been fine for the last 8-9mths but last few days noticed the knocking on left turns.

I got 255 65 16 and have had this problem since owning for last month.... Not to sure what your's can be !!! I found out my problem by looking at radius arm and seeing a nice shiney part where tyre is rubbing. I just dont put full left lock on now. Must be another reason why mine is hitting radius arm. Have a check of your arm anyway.

adjusting the steering lock to prevent this is dead easy..5 minute job once you've got her on stands.. and it should be an MOT fail I think so you need to get it fixed..

Cheers for the advice lads, it's due the annual oil changes so ill get them to look at the front end and have the joints etc checked out.
It can wait now till I get back from my Jollys in Turkey :)

Thanks for advice mjltigger , But being new to all this disco greasy hands stuff, i wouldnt know how to adjust the steering. Advice would be nice if you dont mind. Thanks..

update on this, took the disco in for looking at and right up to dropping it off with them the knocking was there.
Next day they call to ask me again what where and how as they cant find any fault?
Anyway ended up going and taking it for a spin with the engineer in shotgun, but would you believe it no bloody knocking :)

They couldn't explain it as neither could I, just felt like a plonker but happy that there was no cost to me even though they had spent over an hour checking it over.

hats off again to Adventure 4x4 in Morley.

cv joint at a guess as I have one to look at that knocks on lock
