Freelander 2002 Soft Top v Hardback

Newbie here.

Can anyone tell me if the soft top and hard tops on 3-door 2002 Freelanders are interchangeable? ie if I buy a hardback, can I fit a soft top for summer, and vice versa?

it's not a dumb question m8, they are interchangable. mine came with the hardtops and i just bought a soft top when one came up on e bay (cheaper postage that way, a hard top is harder to get through the letterbox)

there is also a shower cover for when you get caught out without the hardtop and it rains. don't confuse this with the soft top.

so the missus said I could have a landrover if she could have a convertible so I'm picking uip the hardback next week.. is the soft top actually any good.. can the hardback be left in the garage all summer?

Does the shower cover protect your perm fully?
