Hi
Recently bought my first Landrover, A Discovery V8, Its has a Cd multi changer under the seat and the orignal Landrover tape/radio player. The screen read overload most of the time.
Any Ideas?

Also as Its my first discovery is it normal of them to rock so much? Its a bit like driving a boat! If its parked you can grab one side and rock it alot.
What should i do to sort this?

Love the V8 sound, a little quiet if i'm honest but great fun and plenty of power.

A land rover is not like a normal car, they have a much higher center of gravity, softer springs and greater axle articulation. All of this means that they handle very differently to a normal car, and you will notice a great deal more body roll. I would fully expect you to be able to get one to rock from side to side if you try hard enough. One way to fix this would be to fit anti roll bars if you haven't already got them fitted, however, this will reduce axle articulation when using it offroad. Another solution would be to fit harder springs, but this can make the ride very harsh.

if its rocking the shocks/dampers might be fubar. But they do rock more than a car cos of the higher COG
