Mine does 75!!!

I dont own one (yet) but have driven one and the most I got was 75. Was an F reg with 150,000 on it though.

My TD5 has done 90 odd, with MT's. but it has got an ECU remap.

I've had 90 out of my 200 with standard box. It would have gone faster if I'd dared. Bigger wheels help.

How are your valves and pistons still connected at those speeds!!? Id guess that at about 60 mine is doing 5thou rpm..

I've had near 95 outta the Toyota, zero filling loss,audible conversation, heat. ABS

Hi, I drove mine back to the South of France after the Billing show. It cruised on the motorway at 70mph nearly all the way which is about a ten hour drive from Calais. Top speed is a little over 80mph. I have never had it flat out. 60mph is more economical. Oh, mine is a 1990, 200tdi 110, ex military.
Mine sits comfortably at that speed, I have some soundproofing over the transmition tunnel. Steering is fine no vibrations or anything like that. Bit on the noisy side, I have to have the radio up full to hear it comfortably but otherwise a pleasant drive listening to the 200tdi rattling along.

iv had 91 by sat nav out of my 90 with a 200 disco engine, sits nice at 70/75 on motorway runs
