YES or NO?

I'm tempted to get a TD5 ES Disco and get rid of my 300tdi. Thing is.... not sure if i should? TD5 is a 53 plate, 85k and from a well known garage so i know it will be fine and i'll get great after care. so what you think? should i go for it?

If you can afford it, I would if I were you.

I considered buying a TD5 instead of a 300 tdi but at the end of the day, I'm only going to scratch it and possibly dent it. Would I rather do that to a 300 tdi that I spent £1200 on or a £3000-£4500 TD5? That's how I looked at it and that's how I ended up with a 300 tdi.

well to be honest, my 300tdi has been wrecked (cosmetically) but since i've had a promotion, i've found myself able to sort out the cosmetic issues and it's slowly becoming....PRETTY? hence the reason for wanting a shiny TD5. more miles on the tarmac than off it. but still capable for the (very) occasional weekend off. it's on the forecourt for £8500 but with my (almost pretty) 300tdi and a big wad of CASH it's mine for £7k which i think is reasonable. 12months mot, 6months tax and 4months FULL warranty. and have to say the only marks on it is behind the handles (lady fingers?)

£7,000 part ex, look on ebay I got my 03 plate for £5200 and this time of year they are cheap.
