Hi guys, recently bought and yesterday installed a new tow bar to my Freebie Td4 and today wanted to get the electrics sorted but now at a standstill.
I noticed on here this morning a thread re where to find the plug-in on the loom but this plug cannot be found in that location (behind right hand panel) on mine.
The Rave images show for 3/5dr versions but mine is a Commercial and I can't believe that the whole panel needs removing to access this plug because it involves much more work than the 3/5dr variants. This would involve, amongst other things, removing the whole false floor in order to remove the panel.
I would also find it hard to believe that this accessory would not be included on the Commercial model.

I managed to pull the panel back after removing a number of fasteners and to the point at where the plug should be located, but nothing!

Any ideas?

it's deffo there on the commercial, fitted a tow bar to my commercial. ideally, the whole panel should be removed, but just undo the ones neares the tailgate and about 1/2 way up the pillar then the panel can be persuaded to bend out of the way. some are taped to the body, some are just hanging about.

deffo there though, unless previously fitted and some scally just cut it off.

good luck

(just to be sure, drivers side)

Cheers for that confirmation, I will investigate again, though I spent a good half hour looking and feeling about.
It's looking increasingly likely that I'll need to raise the floor and get the whole panel off.

what you hanging off the end of it ?

standard relay is more than man enough to power trailer / caravan indicators.

If you have audible device fitted to rear which bleeps when indicators on and trailer / caravan connected you comply legally.

fitting heavy duty towing relay brings up trailer symbol on dash when indicators on and trailer / caravan connected.

tbh, would be a lot less annoying than the buzzer, especially when hazard lights are on when manouvering.

Just a small trailer for the occasional tip run but I'd like to have the dash symbol coming up.
