Am aware of that one, but it is only for towing, not for taking the full force of a snatch recovery, which needs to be capable of withstanding about 8 tons of force.

Thanks for that, the recovery points these fellows produce concern me, as they could produce bending of the chassis through a leverage type action. The D2 is fitted with an ARB SRS compatible Winch Bar, I have been in touch with ARB and they have nothing and would not recommend anything. There are a few different designs that I've come across searching the net. but mostly these protrude downwards and would catch on things on steep approach or hang up negotiating obsticles, not ideal really. Was hoping for something along the lines of 2 swivel shackle type things on front of winch bar, but attached to an anchor point bolted through to and directly in line with the chassis.
