This must be the worst puma ever built.

Minor electrical problems from new, clock not working rear heated screen not working.

New clutch at 17,000 miles old one fell apart.

New turbo 19,000 miles.

Front and rear diffs 27,000 miles.

New transfer box 28,000 miles.

New rear hubs and shafts 30,000 miles.

Headlight connector block burnt out 31,000 miles.

Offside side light now on its twelth bulb.

All this on a 58 plate.

i'll keep my old td5 90. taxed it today £205 for the year. the lady in front had a D3 £435 tax :clock:

our 2 ten plates just been serviced.Apprently there was notng holing the van body to the outriggers!!!!

We have a 57 plate 110 at work, just done 75000 miles. in this time it has had:
New rear hub and halfshaft after drive flange bolts shearing off
2 rear diffs
at 64000 it had a new engine due to an overheating problem they couldnt trace. they had it for almost 3 months! They gave us a rangey sport as a courtesy car as we tow every day.
header tank exploded putting a cap sized dent in the bonnet which is still there as they would not replace this under warranty.
There are many small things wrong with it still. The general build quality is pretty poor even next to our 54 plate 110 which is still not as well built as pre td5 models.
How times change!

I wonder how many will be around in 10 years.
My mate has just ordered a new one as they have given him a good deal on the 58 plate.

Things like hubs, diffs, clutches etc will be from external suppliers, I also doubt that tata will have manged to cost reduce on current models as suppliers are signed up for the length of time the model is in production. For example Ford are suppling the V6 and V8 TDi's as well as the Puma I4 for all Landies. It wont be until brand new models come out will Tata be able to use their own suppliers :)

Exactly, the problem is Ford!
