I'm after a full set of coil spring for my '89 90 as mine have sagged at the back, but I don't want to go Britpart due to the reviews from here...

At the moment, I'm looking at Bearmach (I assume they are better than Britpart?) and have also come across "Allmakes" (are they as bad as Britpart?)

I've found this website and never used them before (Paddock's is just down the road, but only have Britpart ones in stock)

LRDirect | Parts for Land Rover Discovery, Defender, Freelander and Range Rover

Anyone used them before?

Secondly, I just want to confirm that I have the right part numbers before I go ahead and buy.

Front drivers side nrc9446
Front passenger side nrc9447
Rear drivers side nrc9448
Rear passenger side nrc9449

I don't want a 2" lift or heavy duty suspension. Just completely standard all round.

Britpart, indeed stay away from 99.9% of their products. I have for example a set of Britpart seat covers, very happy with them, I would not however fit Britpart mechanical or electrical components.

Allmakes and Bearmach are both as far as I have had experience of, are good parts.

I had a look in Microcat but it doesn't have any Series LR's on it so can't help with the part no's.

dont believe everthing on here britpart do genuine and oe to ,most of the genuine parts come through britpart anyhow, right numbers for std springs

Thanks Discomania...just to let you know, mine isn't a Series...it's a 1989 90...

So it is, I didn't read that properly!!!

I had seen hundreds of Britpart parts and I am yet to be impressed. Parts can often look OK, but on close inspection are flawed.

I think the rubber bushes may be OE parts in Britpart bags, but one never knows when BP get a new supplier.

had britpart "2 lift heavy duty yellows front & rear and shockers.
off road brilliant,on road brilliant. dont get me wrong i am not a great lover of britpart parts but so far so good.

How good are Allmakes? There isn't much difference in price to Britpart.

Is it worth the extra few quid to go Bearmach or will I get the same product as Allmakes, just with a different sticker?
