EAS - Air Bags - Not the usual question

My rear air bags are mullered, meaning the compressor has to keep kicking it to maintain ride high which isnt ideal.

I have been offered a pair of nearly new rear bags, but they were off a disco TD5. he put them one then a month later the compressor went so installed coils.

Logic would say a 2001 P38 and a similar age Disco would have common parts, but these are made by land rover after all and chances are they will be different?

So will they fit???

As they are different part numbers and also look different i would say no they won't fit.

that was not the answer I wanted.

I was after - yes james they fit no problem you just saved yourself a few £££ good work.

As you presumably got a big cheque from the dealer to cover the repairs,why not do the job properly and replace all 4 airbags with Arnott Gen 2's?

I will do, but the 2 rear bags that I could have used were Arnot's as well.

Hense my interest in them.

But yes I will be changing all 4,

I will see if he wants anything for them as they will be of use to someone.

No they are different, completely different chassis between the D2 and P38.
