Hi,

I think I've about convinced myself to buy a new model Rangie.

I was looking at diesel only, but they are alot more than petrol models. I've found that you can get a newer and lower mileage example for the same money. So as I don't do loads of miles, I think it's gonna be a V8.

It will be a BMW V8 model around 53-05.

Is there anything important to look for and check before I commit.

I've heard about diff recals for instance. Are the BMW V8 engines good, etc?

Many thanks.

just have a look underneath at the fuel tank and reassure yourself that there are no holes in it because you will be convinced there is once you start to use it.
I borrowed one from a friend over a weekend and from friday night till sunday night i used £100 worth of fuel and didn't really go anywhere. it worked out that I averaged 16mpg

Thanks very much indeed.

I'll print off a checklist.

How many miles had your car covered when you got it Matt?

Nice website by the way.
