Converting manual to electric windows

Hi,

So am having to replace window regulator on front d/s door, decided would like to put some electric windows in instead.

Any advice on whether id have to change the glass over, problems with doing this etc much appreciated.

Or just let me know if its a straightforward job too....

you can buy a universal kit for around £50. You simply remove the winding handle and fit a motor over the winding cog instead.

I changed the doors for ones off a 2006 XS then made up a simple relay circuit to control them.

Will definitely be more likely to give this a go! seems easy enough and will save me pennies to spend on other bits..
