mine wouldnt show the tps fault untill year later when it got really bad

^^ Did change the throttle pot.

Problem fixed though- was lucky enough to be allowed to borrow an air meter from a good 3.9 disco for a few hours and problem disappeared. Ordered a new one on ebay for 57 quid delivered which ain't too bad

or get the ecu fault code read to see what is happening rather than guessing
