without wanting to sound grim.
the only way to 100% guarantee that your beloved motor will not get nicked is to not own one...
car security is very much like computer techno.. only valid and good for a few months, by that time the c***s who thieve what others work hard for will fins some way of countering what you have put on, as has been mentioned, fit a tracker and they block it, fit disk locks etc and they will crane it away, i feel safe in teh knowledge however that even though mine is unlocked it will not be stolen or taken in any way.. ( it is on a military compound) Armed guard and 8 foot fence with patrols, yet despite this my insurance is high!!!

the best thing is to not draw attention to your car, if it looks like **** it, the risk of it being stolen is reduced.

A cheap method i use is to get scaffold pole . Cut it to about 3 to 4 foot, or to a size that can be stored in the rig but must be over the steering wheel by about a foot on the bottom weld a ring . All i do then is when i leave veh pass the pole thruogh the steering wheel and with the right size lock clamp it to what you want clutch, brake, accelerator . You need to messure it up to get a good tight fit before you weld it up , paint scaffold pole a nice bright coulor so the nice people see it before they smash. in at the steering wheel end you can have another ring and lock . Hopfully it will imped people getting in to the driving position and moving a pedal . You can also smash their knee caps with bar

Lets just say that phone signals can be blocked shall we. MOST (not all) trackers use GSM technology. I can block BOTH types of tracking device WITHOUT a jammer. I have had years of practice mind.;):D

(cough) i just turn my 'friends' on and it does it all for me, gota love lunch brakes outside starbucks

L1 L2 and L3 gps jammers are easy to come by, dont work on new merc, bm's and alike but stop everything else. gps and 3g ones can work on both eu and usa freq.

how about the old fuel pump switch, place it in a linup of switches marked somethings that its not and hard to find, ok they still nick it but only get so far down the road.
