did some prep work ready for ripping out the gearbox next weekend

Fitted a new turbo hose to the Disco

Old one decided to let go whilst doing 70MPH on the M25.... Que wait for the big yellow taxi

Was only 1 JCT away from home so he took us all the way home Luckily had a new one in the shed

Planning my next move to combat the flat spot and smoke.

I am ordering new injectors and silicone hoses for the intercooler in the morning.

did some filling of holes and grinding of metal

Finally got the old steering damper off and installed the new one.

Big difference!

head gasket finished at last

Fitted newly acquired roof tent & awning.

Also fixed my nasty juddering from the back axle everytime I let up the clutch in 1st or reverse...cure was to replace the A-frame bushes and bolts, A frame balljoint, and a new rear propshaft (splines were shot). Its lovely and smooth now, no more nasty knocks:cool2:

The misses got sick of the Welsh mud on my Disco and jet washed it - really spoiled the look


Also made it more difficult to shove through the Birmingham rush hour traffic - people always get their BMWs and Porsches out of the way of a muddy scratched up disco

Pulled the cb out, had a look inside , fook knows why :doh: think it's time for a noo one .

Put a new spring in the back door of our lasses motor

Made a new brake pipe for the 90






The third one shows M10 x 1 on the left and 3/8"x24 unf on the right.

got fooked off with workin in that heat ,so me and the doris fooked off down to the coast and took the mut for a walk on the beach (thought it was a good opportunity to give dafts ECU extension leads/waterproof box a good long test as well )



then popped down to a famous chippy stall



the leads performed faultlessly by the way daft

it's amazing that the heap of crap you drove down to west bay actually made it,did you take the dog with you in case it had to pull the landy home if it broke down.:behindsofa::bolt::rolly:

hiya,you not been about for awhile,everything ok with the disco/drains etc etc.. and yes it is unusual for me but i aint been to bed yet.

Waterproofed the drivers door, passenger door, bulkhead, battery box & underside of tub with a roofing solution...........LANDY STINKS!!!:doh:

Did a bit of greenlaning. It was Sweeet!!!!
