Hi all
I was thinking of travelling down to this place to get myself a Defender, has anyone used them? If so could you comment on the service you had when buying & the after sales service, quality of vehicle etc.
There are some great testimonies on their website but just thought I would ask on the forums here for some real feedback.

Bought a refurbed 90 from them earlier this year and couldn't be happier. Good honest strqight talking people to deal with. Go on down and have some fun!

i want to get 200tdi 110 restored. its only 14 this year but i only bought it at the begining of this year and i'm desperate to keep it orginal and in top condition. the problem is i'm a lamo student and i just can't afford it, even to do it myself. can't afford to sort leaking clutch cylinder, but it lasted 4000miles round europe and another 3k since. one day, liverage will get a visit.

Only used them once for some S/H bits.
They were very slow in delivering the items I had ordered but when I chased them up they were very appologetic and sent me the parts FOC. Seemed very genuine & sincere.

I bought a liveridge defender 90, 10 years ago and have had it maintained and serviced by liveridge.

The quality and commitment of liveridge service is outstanding and I have recommended them to many others.

From my first email to Chris at liveridge, to the collection of my chosen landy was a wonderful experience. Chris helped me match a car to my dreams and budget. The car itself was a dream come true and has been brilliant these last 10 years.

Servicing with liveridge is something I cannot manage these days as I live in Southern Spain but those years I did service with liveridge they gave me a courtesy car and returned my landy like new. I have used other garages over the years and nothing compares to liveridge for quality of service and professionalism.

I have had many mechanics look over the car an all agree its still in fine shape for a 20 year old vehicle and this was thanks to liveridge treating the chasis for me 10 years ago.

Any gripes? None whatsoever. They are professional, competent and I highly rate the customer service.

Hope this helps,
Rob M

I had my handbrake fixed by them two weeks ago and they had to replace the back plate. In all it cost me £105 and it took about 2 1/2 hours to fix. It now works perfectly, a job well done i might ad. They also advised me of a few other problems which will need to be sorted at some point. Very friendly, fast and competent service.

Is this spam?

Just out of interest. If you paid top whack for a landy from somewhere like liverwhatsits, then paid them to service and repair it for 10 years, how much would it have cost you? My mind boggles long before it gets to numbers that big.

And they helped haynes write there manual on landrover refurb? THINK CAREFULLY B4 U DECIDE PARTING WITH UR HARD EARNED CASH.

My 90 was refurbed by Liveridge for the previous owner.

Yesterday I removed the front diff, 4.7:1 ratio, which seems OK, apart from the fact that the rear diff is a 3.56:1 one. No wonder the difflock didn't work.

I'll probably have to swop the trans box over as well now.

Mucking Fuppets.

Avoid these at all costs! I wish I'd never heard of them. Terrible service and I'd question there integrity. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.
