freelander 04 i have a knocking / clunking noise from the front underside i have had the drop links and the anti roll bar bushes replaced, but still have the noise/ feeling help could it be the wheel bearing cheers

Sounds like a cracked chassis, broken subframe, perished engine mount bushes :hysterically_laughi .No I reckon its your drive shaft, but it could be something wrong with the prop ar ird unit.
Search drive shafts.

If it's making a noise on even ground, it's your driveshaft.

If it's making a noise on uneven ground, it's your ball joint (part of the wishbone).

If the ball joint is extremely worn though it may make the noise on what you think is even ground, but even the smallest potholes/bumps will make noise on a VERY worn ball joint.

Same, i'd left it that long as i was trying to source the bush and housing together. Went to the main dealer in Cork in the end and i managed to fix it in half the time with the bush supplied already in the housing. Straight swap over.
