diy extended arches

I have seen it done on a toyota with some black plastic/vinyl cut to shape and the edges tidy'd up with some plastic trim. it then bends to the curviature

To fit the Defender arches you would need to remove the existing spats and fix to body, This would leave some big Santana style arches.

The materials were all bought off Ebay so im told.

I made mine from lorry mudguards on ebay, cost £30 and half a days work with a heat gun, pop rivets and a tube of sikaflex. They are 5 inches outside the bodywork and look pretty good.
