  • Hi Dougie,

Thanks for your reply, it turns out it is the BCU which is the problem the garage even pulled the wool over my eyes as to what was really wrong, got advice to dry the unit out as humidity in car is very damp and I think steam from hot horse feeds may have got into it. Have also had dehumidifier going in car trying to remove some moisture, auto electrician is about to come in next 10 mins to put the unit back and see if it works!!! Thanks for your number will text you and let you know the latest, if this doesn't work I've found a company in St. Albans which repairs both ECU's and BCU's and if unable to repair tell me the codes can be transferred to another unit! I hope so!

    Bye for now,

    Sue
    Hiya

Sounds like you've been dumped on from a great height.

I've got several ideas for you but it would be a lot easier to talk rather than type. My mobile is 0781 333 6602. I can't guarantee to answer it during the working day but you can text me anytime - just don't forget to tell me who you are!! - and I can phone you back.

    Dougie
