I'd be checking around the air tank to make sure the air supply to it hasn't been popped off?
A good clean up needed then and a thorough examination of air lines and airbags. 👌
On a different forum someone explained the outcome, because they knew someone who did something like this, and they said it was fine, just less acceleration.
And yet I am not increasing the fuel economy with differentials, which I have explained so many times now I have lost count. It is like you didn't read anything that I said. Which once again proves my point about this place...
Think of how much easier it will be for the next person searching how to increase fuel economy with differentials. They’ll be giddy. It’l be like he did all the work for them
This thread has been quite the read. 270 posts in a matter of days and presumably it'll keep going. I'll be honest, I'd be fascinated to see the outcome...
I did everything to the proper tightness apart from the 2 ball joints on the hub but thought they were "tight enough" 🤔
I did reuse a bolt for the arm>chassis on one of the arms because i forgot to buy a new one 🤔🫣🙄
Well i made progress on my suspension rattle. When i replaced the arb drop link, the "special washer" was missing, so i didn't use one. It was fine for a while but i think it started to rattle - just fitted a washer and the rattle has gone...
Maybe loosen it and faf with it a little. The proof will be when you warm the engine and check your work👍
Are you sure the o-rings are correct for the application? 🤔
As long as the collars on each pipe sit against the black plastic they are are home. The aluminum collar should be sat equally across the pipes in relation to the black plastic receiver 👍
"Bend over and take it" means to not respond and just accept being insulted.
I did not do that.
I was insulted and patronized and for a little while I tolerated it but after about the 10th time I had enough.
I eventually decided not to bend...
Hull is cold in a different way, when you walk into a pub EVERYONE turns to look at you..... you wonder why but its the fact you don't have webbed fingers.
If you are very new to it all I would first of all think very carefully about what you want to do/carry in it.
A 90 is the same external dimensions (length and width) as a golf. You can carry things, a dog, or people, but you can only choose one...
Age and engine type?
I would recomend a mid-80’s, model with series doors fitted and a tdi engine conversion. That will get you the closest experience to what @saxavordian is describing and the true Land Rover driving expiriance.
Don’t listen...
hello there, looking for some insightful advice 😃
Whilst I was at war with my spigot bush my first attempt was to drill the end cap off. In doing so I have drilled into the crankshaft it appears?…although it must of been made of cheese has never...
Ooer, I'd of thought the end bearing will be around 2" in diameter. Unless you fill it with JB weld just to fend off a leak😱
You may have to put it together a d monitor it... 🫣
Er actually you don't just take it, you respond at excessive length to the slightest comment or opinion.
You also did the same on the other forum, when anybody mentioned fuel economy, even though your first post on here and there mentioned it...
