what about remap to tell the engine you got rid of egr??

on a 04 freelander do all the plastic std freelander nudge bars all come in grey??? been looking for black but no luck:confused: just loads of grey for sale

ive a td4 and my egr as failed. whats the pros/cons of a egr blanking plate??what happens to the vacum pipe. also have you got to have the car remaped to tell he ecu its gone ??? cheers:)
