The front windows do not have a relay in BECM. The outstation does the switching. The signalling is from BECM using Pins 3,13,14,15. These are Data Lines not 12V switching. The same wires are used for the central locking signals as well....

Thanks Kurt. When I use Hawkeye to test the valve block I can hear every valve opening and closing. I do have another driver box sitting in the shed. Is there a way that I can test it out of the car to make sure it is still good before installing...

You may have a leak in your system or you have a power surge going on somewhere. I would say its the latter the amount of pumps the vehicle has gone through. Could be a faulty driver box on the valve block not opening and closing valves correctly...

I think I would just go to the dealer. How much can it be for 2 green o-rings? That way you'll know they'll fit correctly.

The thermal switch is a little transistor looking thing by the wiring brushes in the top of the motor. It is soldered to a small circuit board so should be pretty robust. I did have one where the track on the circuit board was so thin it had...

I've got a vague memory they're driven from relays on the BECM. Clicking sounds like power is being granted but the motor has seized. Or possibly the mechanism.

And lower mileage than the clock unless you want a shock. Tried syncing the keys? One must work with the BECM?

  13. Grrrrrr replied to the thread P38A EAS, WHAT ELSE....AGAIN.

From memory they push onto some studs and are held in place by shock-washers. Stops the BECM cooking too. I managed to salvage my old one and personally I would fabricate something ceramic. If they went to the extra expense on something no-one...

Sounds odd but maybe someone hamded it back having fried it? Was that with it unplugged? If the other wires touch with power applied then it will fry the switch. It can be replaced but why bother when you have a duff unit? I guess the only other...
