Yes, very good from their website. About the same cost as Dopey's below if you get the Euro cover. With Dopey's the missus is covered as well though so gone with his. Maybe change again next year! Thanks, Dopey. Went with AutoAid, although cost...

AutoAid Breakdown Recovery is the best, it covers the person and not the car, you can be in any car, and that included your spouse for free as well, I have used them a few time and its a good service The renewal premium due is as follows:...

Just had my AA breakdown renewal quote. Seems a bit steep at £170 for roadside+relay on any vehicle? Any recommendations? Preferably from a firm that turns up in hours rather than days.

I wouldn't want a Disco body if I could have a RR Classic one or the TDi engine of any sort over the VM that was fitted at the time or maybe a 3.0 six pot of some sort. The P38 came with an R380 gearbox, both with 4.0L v8 and BMW diesel. In...

Quite apart from the massive cost of the parts that are missing, I can’t see how it will be tax and MOT exempt if it needs new chassis, engine & gearbox. If you are re-bodying it as a disco, why not just buy a disco? The DVLA website says: You...

18" are harsher. They're slightly more positive on the steering but I prefer the softer 16" for B roads or winter or off road. I found Boge the best all rounder. I thought Terrafirma were harsh but Brian likes them. Maybe mine were extreme ones....

Leave it. BMW were very optimistic on the mapping for the conditions for the lower rpm limit of a warm running engine. A little stretch on the timing chain, a slightly worn starter motor, FIP and all the other little things and it just doesn't...

The hot start chip just mimics a cold start, I think it interrupts the ignition system and fools the ecu, some chips are more reliable than others, you'll see the coil light come on and it sticks extra fuel through the injectors, so the car idles...
