Yes best be safe than sorry, I just thought if the drop arm had took some significant impact it would of a caused a leak. Skint now aswell after spending 1500 on goodies for it.

yes I fit the box pre accident, I was hoping the panhard rod had taken the impact and maybe moved the drop arm a few splines. the steering isn't smooth as it should be.

would it be a waste of time adjusting the nut on the outside of the box, Only reason I'm thinking that is because would it be stiff on both locks rather than just on right lock if that needed adjusting. When you try putting right lock on you can feel it pulling to the left. Thanks.

Thanks. I did think maybe the box wasn't right because I obviously didn't touch anything else. Only thing is the bottom arm didn't go as high up the shaft as the old one did, But that shouldn't affect anything. Does that mean it needs a different box putting in ?
