Just the bog standard ones, I don't tend to fit polybushes

I reckon I may have found a big part of the issue. Removed the panhard rod and the bushes are completely degraded after only a few months so those will be getting replaced as will the radius arm bushes just to be sure

What did you do to sort it? What symptoms did you have?

Checked the lift pump when I took it out the box and it's nice and strong, great suck and blow action which is what I like. The fuel lines are larger than standard, I replaced them all years ago. I might replace the fuel filter again and stick a cleaner through it and see if that helps as...

It's as clean as it is. Never had this problem before and it does tend to sit parked up for weeks at a time (not so much now).

Changed the fuel filter to rule that out and the pick up pipe and sender are new

Please help before I burn this thing. I had my Landy parked up for about 4 months and then I drove it for a little while then I started the rebuild. Prior to the lay up it was fine but since then and after the rebuild it has been shocking on hills and I feel like I've got no power whatsoever...

It's not the a frame, and not quite a clonk. It's more of a click like something moves slightly at the front end but nothing is loose that I can see. This rattling through the steering has been happening since before the rebuild but the occasional death wobble is new

Would depend entirely on what it is. I asked them about a relatively common part (can't mind now what it was) and they said they don't make it and had no plans to at this point.

Well it's a new chassis so can't see that being the issue and the axle end is fine. It definitely seems to be much more likely to happen when I'm going round a left bend and hit a pothole or bump with the left wheel but I only think it's this, I can't say for certain. Wheel bearing and swivel...

I did check those and tightened them up even more but when I put it all back together they were torqued to specs. The bushes are new as are the bolts

No bearing movement on it at all and swivels are all good

Check that the cable is actually fitted into the square housing of the speedo drive on the transfer box. It's hard to see and quite a few times when fitting it I thought mine was in but was actually jammed down the side so I had no speedo. Also do yourself a favour and upgrade to a TD5...

Coming back to this I haven't managed to get any further look at what could be causing the issue but I have noticed it definitely seems worse and much more noticeable when turning left and going over potholes at speed, or coming round a long left hand bend and driving over bumps. I don't know if...

Can't argue with that logic lol. I don't think mine has been stolen because it looks like a bag of **** and I'm always fixing it but it's all an illusion 😉

It probably never happened before because the springs will have been rusted in place. You could fit dislocation cones if it's going to be a recurring problem

I'll have a look at the balljoint then and see if that is indeed the problem. I can live with it for now as it seemed ok last night during a wee drive about but the death wobble was the first time it had happened despite having had those rattle through the steering for years now

I had the front end up and nothing feels loose. I may go with what anaconda said and look at the drop arm balljoint at some point
