    Hi Thanks for the reply. I have just had a new set of alloy wheels fitted and no difference. When i accelerate slowly and keep it to 30 mph or less the vibration is very noticable. Its definately in time with the engine revs. I get visions of worn out clutch plates covered in muck rubbing...

    Thank you all, iv found out what the problem was, it was the hadbrake. Apparently i had some oil in the drum which soaked the brake shoes and made them sticky. When i was traveling very slowly as i described one of the brake shoes was becoming adhered to the inside of the drum as it spun. So...

    Thank you all, I have just taken it out to a big car park in an attempt to get it to make the noise but wouldn't you know it it performed perfectly without any problems which is what normally happens when im trying to show the mechanic what im on about. I think i can rule out the CV joints...
