Found it now, it was behind the panel where the hazard light switch is. Only a one minute job to sort plus about 5 hours finding it. Thank you to every one who responded.

I am still looking for the voltage reducer, taken the spats off today, nothing their, also taken the speedo and insrument panel out still nothing their, anyone have any idea's, must get the mot sorted. The Saulges I live in is just south of Normandy.

In answer to the question 'where in France' we are in a village called Saulge in the Pay de Loire, south of Normandy. I have looked in the wings, taken out the headlights in case I could find an aditional wire and also in the light switch.

Yes I have taken it for it mot here in France, failed on handbreak and dim dipped headlights, handbreak now fixed. Just headlights to sort out.

I moved to France with my 1997 110 300TDi and have a problem, it will not pass it's mot here because of the dim dipped headlights. When the sidelights are on and the engine is running the headlights come on dim. I looked in the manual and it is what should happen, but was only fitted to UK...

I have a water leak on my 300 tdi engine. It seems to be leaking from between the engine block and the bit behind the water pump. Is this a common problem and if so what gaskets do I need. Thanking you for your help in advance
