how much weight can a freelander spare wheel carrier take? I'm thinking of removing the spare wheel of the back door and making a bracket for transporting a inflatable dinghy thats to large to fit in the back with the seats up. any ideas?

took it back to dealers they removed the callipers no faylt found they say it is the brakepads and that it will wear in? other forums say they have had same problem with pads may change pads in a month if no better
