    Front radius arm removal

Renewing front shocks and spring pans on mine. All turret rings nuts came off with none broken [pays to oil them] One turret had a rotted out section, did not want to wait for a replacement so welded in a patch.

    Radiator replacement

For normal use standard rad is all you need for general use 200tdi. Have a close look at the little fins between the tubes. On an older rad they are often clogged or have rotted and are crumbling away. Things soon warm up then when working harder than normal.

How thick is the brass dovetail on the rear door closure?

The same items is used to support the rear doors of coil spring models up to and including TD5s.

How thick is the brass dovetail on the rear door closure?

That above is not the dovetail, just the latch The Dovetail is as in @catmans's pic above, that one is badly out of line and will not do the job of preventing door moving up and down when shut. The brass tail is a cast shaped item that locates into the bent steel tapered U that is located on the...

    Front Axle - What Type?

Corrected I am, pretty sure 89 One ten had the larger calipers but has been a long time. My 1990 Ninety has the also has the large calipers now as well as bit larger tires than original 205's

    Front Axle - What Type?

The fact that has no number along with narrow arm brackets, larger axle end caps, swivel housing style suggest it is the original axle. I fact it looks just like my 1990 one [which is original] with more rust. Not that bad though looks like it will clean up well. I have repaired brackets and...

    Deformed Piston bowl

Most likely is what @SimonBrown says in above post. Hot spot due to poor injector spray pattern. Black puff is the 200's excess fuel start system working, good for getting dirty looks at the supermarket car park. :D

Yes, try and get what is already on your truck.

    Defender Lift

Recon the above will give @Kremers lots to think about. I have no idea what sort of off roading there is in Cyprus. However a much simper way to improve the capability of a standard Land Rover would be to fit locking diffs or perhaps better in your case @Kremers torque bias diffs as they need...

Death wobble and swivel pin preload.

For later vehicles like yours it is one shot grease. Do not mix anything.

    Injectors and washers.

Just so you get this right Land Rover Ninety and One Ten models built before 1990 are not Defenders. The Defender name only came in with the arrival of the TDi 200 engine model.[same as disco] This can be important when ordering parts. John Craddock has what you need here in UK.

    Injectors and washers.

Disco washer NO. Same washer used in 2ltr 2.25 and 2.5 engines up to 1990.

Death wobble and swivel pin preload.

The shims you need are already in there, it is a case of removing one or two to get the preload right. They are of different thickness and it is a case of try it and see. Example remove the thinnest shim replace pin and if still to loose put it back and remove next thickest and so on until pre...

Death wobble and swivel pin preload.

Its called "speed wobble" because that is when it happens usually induced by a bump in the road. Loading up the drive train [accelerating] can act as a damper but is not a cure. Have you done the swivel housing preload?

Death wobble and swivel pin preload.

Does this mean you have not yet checked/done the swivel pin pre load since this thread was started? Swivel pin pre load job does not need the hub removed unless pin or bush is worn. Jack and support axle. Remove wheel and disconnect track rod [and steering rod for nearside.] Have a feel of...
