Glow plugs? i guess they are like spark plugs for petrol cars? will check tonight. Yes the car cranks the engine over VRRRRRRRR but no VROEM at the endof it. only a few times through, not more than 7 seconds, never more than twice, the battery will be off then

both batteries make no difference, the r75 smallish one or the original willard bigger one, it dies after cranking

SierraFerry the batteries are not the same, one is just a little bit smaller than the other. The r75 is not diesel, but a v6 petrol the battery will be alive for a crancking or two on the freelander before it seems to be completely sucked dry, the rover will start one go on the same battery...

Ok, i recharge battery by runningit a few minutes on the r75. then put it on the freelander. the freelander will crank once or twice at most if i try to crank it 3rd time, it will seem like batter is dead, no cranking just the clack clack sound by crancking i mean it will go...

I started by trying out the injector test, because the car would just not crank, then the mechanic guy said it was definately the pumps..... if i don't blow both my cars tonight i will let you guys know:)
