i'm near blackpool. but someone else has said to me after i posted my question that discovery 2 doesn't need reprogramming after a new battery has been put in like the discovery 1!! i'm so confused!!

Hi i've got a 2001 Y reg discovery ES and i can't get in my car using the key fob!! and when i get in using the key in the lock the alarm starts going off!!! i've looked in my handbooks and can't find anything on reprogramming a key fob. please can someone help me! thanks JO

i've looked through my manual book and unless i'm been really stupid i just can't see it anywhere about reprogramming the key fob!! i'm in a right pickle!! maybe i've got a manual missing then!! i'm looking in the owners handbook, is that the same thing???
