    Another stolen Landie

Found out a bit more. Recovered in Wythenshaw. Had been used for various jobs but then they had decided to sell it - thats when it was found. I think its well organised - the landy was cloned last year when someone copied the plates and put them on another nicked vehicle- they ran around...

    Another stolen Landie

Well chuffed to get it back. Didn't catch them - think it was abandoned as there were too many police reports of it driving off towing bits of plant. Sad thing is they have probably nicked another one so that they can carry on.

    Another stolen Landie

Against all odds the lads in blue have found my Landie! 1000 more miles on the clock, dent on the wing but otherwise in one piece. Aparently used for thieving plant from around the north west under false plates. Not sure how they got in/started as no damage to any of the locks! I will now...

    Defender chassis help

Tak your point about rust inside the chassis-I am going to get it on a ramp and have a good look around. What would you recommend treating with - been on a number of landrover websites and seen conflicting advice. Waxoyl seems to find some favour, but then others dismiss it. Any recommendations?

    Defender chassis help

Hi, new to this forum and after a bit of advice. Just got hold of a 1990 Defender from the in laws. Been used on a farm and whilst it needs a bit of TLC it looks ok. The chassis has had a bit of welding before but otherwise "appears" ok (had a poke around and it all appears solid) and recently...
