The solar panels look a good idea until we get the drain sorted. I’d have no idea how to wire them up though.

I’ve got twin 7 pin sockets. How can I charge via the 7S? Also, if I have a flat battery, can I connect a jump pack to the 7S in order to unlock the vehicle? In my case I’ll have to remove the isolator switch which is a pain anyway but if I could open the door this way that would be great.

All sorted as managed to pull up the override lever at last.

I’m not well enough to lift out that massive battery in order to charge it up. How long will it take to charge with the engine running?

Following on from my last post, I finally managed to pop the bonnet and charge the battery. The TD6 now starts again. Just one problem, the dam thing is stuck in park. I’ve removed the boot from the shift and pulled the lever on the side but the shift won’t move. The brake switch is working...

The lock doesn’t work unfortunately. Once the battery reaches 11.8v the isolator kicks in to prevent further draining. I should have just isolated before laying up.

Folks, Due to battery drain I fitted an automatic isolator which cuts in at 11.8v. It’s now done this but the remote control isn’t working and the vehicle is locked. Previously a local mechanic managed to pop the bonnet by removing the grill but I don’t know exactly what he did. Any ideas? TIA.

Yes bud. I’ve cleared the fault code which showed up in the SAS, ABS, and air suspension modules. ABS lights came on but went off after a restart. Air suspension went up, down and then back to normal. Fingers crossed 🤞. Many thanks for all of the advice folks. Very much appreciated.

Hi folks, Finally got my hands on an icarsoft CR Pro and scanned the TD6. I’ve got a fault code on the SAS stating CAN message error. Anybody know what it means exactly? Also, a flame out fault on the FBH. Any information gratefully received as always. TIA.

I’ve just remembered but if I drive over 50mph the steering is very, very light. The vehicle will move to one side or the other almost too quickly. It felt unsafe tbh.

Evening folks, A slightly worrying problem. Our 2002 L322 TD6 has decided to automatically apply the front ABS whilst being driven. Happens very momentarily and thus far, at lower speeds. I can’t imagine what it would be like at motorway speeds! Any ideas as to what on earth is causing...

Hi folks, The 12v socket next to the shift lever on my L322 2002 TD6 doesn’t work. The one in the cubby box does as does the rear one. Before I started fiddling, are they on the same fused circuit? Guessing not?

Got it to connect to the ‘phone (iPhone) which I don’t really need as I have the Apple Watch but Google Maps won’t work sadly. It plays DVDs okay and should play TV if a digital module is fitted. No idea if the rear screens work as I haven’t tried yet. She due a full service and a good valet...
