Well bathroom inspector came, accused be of breaking the toilet flush and loosening the tile trim on purpose, he said the door with a quarter inch gap at the top, creaking hinges and not fitting the frame is fine. He also complained that the job had been signed off was now costing extra money ffs.

I think the old trucks were hinged in three places because with just one the headlamps would obstruct opening the hood, problem is it's got to be at least one in the middle and jiggle opening it or go all the way with three. Vent is a problem with either option. I think it'll look better with...

Marked up for three piano hinges, only problem being the top vent on bonnet, there's a hole under it. Just plucking up the courage for the first cut 🤔

I'd replace leak off pipes anyway as they're cheap and easy, see if it persists

I have re-used a copper head gasket in the past, got wifey to iron it then torqued it down to 60 lbs feet Might be worth tightening the head down to 60 , they seldom warp being cast iron

They usually leak around the engine number area, I always used to put a but of gasket stuff on that area when assembling. Water may be running along from the thermostat housing though

Black seems to be the colour of choice recently
