Hi all I have LD4 (319), with an intermittent fault on the exhaust gas temperature sensor. I get code P246F-64 bank 1 sensor 4. I’m keen to swap this out, but have no idea where bank 1 sensor 4 is located, any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Will do. Hopefully get a better look in daylight tomorrow 👍 Early signs, I would say a blend between the cable not being aligned (appeared to fall out very easily on one side) and gunk in the latch mechanism.

Update! Bonnet now open!!! Managed to access the latch bolts and undone 👍 Pulled cables out and opened latch from underside. New catches arriving tomorrow 👌 Thanks all for your support 👍

Managed to get the grill of today, so now have a view of the catch, will try cable and potentially remove the latch tomorrow. Many thanks 👍

Help! I currently cant get my bonnet open on my disco 4, when I pull the lever the drivers side releases and I can move the bonnet slightly, but it appears the near side catch is still engaged. I’ve tried the long screwdriver approach but no success. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Many thanks for the support! Very much appreciated! Just a short update. Found a leak on the piston end of the compressor and tried a repair, which failed. Bought a replacement compressor and the fault code is solved! Thanks again!

Hi All I have a 2016 LD 3/4, and have a continuous air suspension issue, defaulting to normal ride height only being available. I have recently refurbed the compressor, o rings and beads, and did the overnight test with no leaks apparent. I presently have 3 codes showing - C1A36-01 exhaust valve...

Well the saga continues…..in the last two days I’ve had “normal height only” and “suspension fault”, both appearing on startup, both disappearing on the next startup ‍♂️‍♂️. No codes showing on the new Autel……

Epic stuff buddy every day is a school day….I automatically thought above 12 was good! The 12.39 was the large main battery, the other (eco) looks brand new. Looking forward to doing my first service and a look at a couple of advisories that need dealt with, b4 Aug. I’ll hopefully get the live...

HI gstuart.....finally got back to it today! Both batteries checked out fine 12.39 & 12.94, and both above 10 when starting. Plugged in the Autel and got it registered, etc did a scan, and no faults found!! then i looked up and the fault has disappeared from the dash!! lol Now have a new message...

Much appreciated, thanks. I’ve got a new code reader on order, as my current one is too old and not supportive of the LD. Had the fuse out all day and measured every couple of hours, no movement. (Fuse been out about 8-hours) Didn’t know about the batteries, will defo check them, thanks again

Hi On opening the rear passenger door yesterday, all 4 corners went into access mode. I started the car and raised to off-road, normal, access and back to normal. Only heard a weird noise at the rear near side for a short period. All continued normal following a few drives and still normal this...
