I understand it will put 40bhp on - around 177bhp OK..... What happens to to torque / bhp at around 1100 - 1700 rpm Any experiences of this

Thanks I'm looking at a stage 1 re map gives about 40hp more Does anyone know if this will damage engine i.e headgasket/turbo/overheating What happens to fuel economy? I'n trying to get more torque between 1200 and 2200 rpm - not bothered about revving up!! Cheers Guy

Well - some of these companies i.e "TD5 alive" etc.. are selling all sorts of upgrades - starting with air filters, turbo boosters, sports intercoolers, ECU remaps - rather disconcerting to think of the amount of money charged Well - we all know about turbo lag, etc... any ideas how to improve...

Why bother selling "performance" filters??

Is it possible to fit arm rests to Landmark models - holes are in place - just lumbar support on drivers side with screw a problem?

Its a 2002 DISCO td5 with 90k on clock Goes like*** no knocking after startup, smooth - just slightly ouder than normal "knock" for 3 secs on starting.:eek:

Slightly louder than normal clatter of the td5 engine:confused:

Is this a problem - lasts for 2 or 3 secs on starting from cold?:confused:

I used to have a 53 plate td 5 and much quicker than that - standard power is 136hp i believe Just an educated guess

Got a 2002 Y PLATE td5 xs lines up with missing servive history after 60k - done 90k - drives ok , no smoke, good motor, looks well - should I be worried:confused:

It happens initially for 1 second, each time the engine is revved:eek:
