you dont need to have it running just cranking for a leak off test, there are plenty of utube videos on how todo it plus a leak off kit on fliebay is about £35

i would do a leak off test before doing the fuel sensor as a faulty injector stops it starting ( and if it was cranking it wasnt the immobiliser)

there is a whole sequence of events that have to happen before the diesel will start (cant say about the petrol) any one of which would stop the starter from working

i some how think you have been barking up the wrong tree with the ecu being the problem

well that solves the problem of the clicking on my friends one, let us know how you fix it please

for the price of a rocker gasket change it and find out

everything works on mine as regards seats steering column mirrors all adust with different keys and still an unused plug

i have a 4.6lt thor which failed on emissions, apparently you have to drive a t least 46 miles for it to recalibrate if the battery’s been off, bit difficult when it has no mot tax or insurance

thats strange i have working memory seats and the same plug not attached to anything

easyer to look on utube than explain, if you have a leaking injector you wont get fuel rail pressure and it wont start

do a leak off test to check you haven’t got a duff injector

ive got one in blue £3k or near offer if you haven’t got the 18k

the 2 bolts holding it in are at a **** poor angle and will be rusted to fu ck

bad shocks, plus its a beemer
