Hi again got a 3.5 v8 twin carb starts 1st time every time when cold with very little choke but when run up to temperature and stopped for a few mins struggles to start. Turns over and over and gradually kicks into life after what seems ages 30-50 secs. Any ideas

Why don't you try an ashcroft transmisson unit. Ive had one fitted and can now do 60+ mph (if I dare) with a lot lower revs about 25 % lower than before also one less lever 2 deal with. It also leaves low ratio the same so still good for off roading

Have tried fuse, taken towing kit off, new stalk no joy. Is the flasher unit behind dashboard if so how do I undo speedo cable from back to get at it? cheers

Had my gearbox and transfer box reconed at aztec landrovers for £500. Its in deapest lincolnshire martins a top bloke he's available on 01507 358408 . Well worth it and seems to have stopped all (most of) my oil leaks

Hi have a problem with my dizi V8 3.5 twin Carb When setting my points I noticed that the pastic tube/nut that the hexagonal dwell bolt screws thru had shattered this makes it impossible to set them. Does anyone know where I can get this tiny bit of plastic from new or used? Cheers Paul

3.5 V8 carb Had problems starting when warm always started when cold Was suggested that I changed points. Changed them and set them to correct gap now wont start although occassionally fires up for a few secs on what sounds like a few cylinders. put old points back in still same problem Any Ideas?

3.5 V8 twin carb Starts first time when cold. Then a big struggle when warm. Turns over and sounds like trying to start eventually catches on and fires up. Have changed starter motor (was working intermitantly) coil spark plugs rotor arm. New dissy cap and ht leads last year. Any ideas please
