    Rumour has it, some defenders have Disco sunroofs fitted after market. The two are not the same. Mine is exactly the same. I also found I couldnt tighten it down enough to 'straighten the curve' so to speak. What i did do though was tighten the handle, and then wedge a thick piece of card...

    WOOLY HAT! I already have to wear a snorkel and face mask when it rains, how much more extreme weather clothing do I need to wear driving this thing. Its like driving a collander on wheels as it is. I'll be buying shower gel to use in it soon:)

    Thanks for the prompt response mate. The fan is working fine (well, I jammed my missus' hand into it to see if it was running infd she screamed). Any idea how much an ally one is, and where the best place to get it from is? Is it true that OEM LandRover ones a poo?
