Hi, I have a 2A that has a 200TDI engine and gearbox fitted, but it has the old axles which are not meant to be permanently in 4WD. Has anyone tried the Ashcroft part time kit and does it remove the centre diff to give straight through 4WD. The kit seems like a good idea but i dont want to loose...

Hi, I'm Dave R and I have just bought a 1968 series 2a with safari roof, with a 200 tdi engine and anLT77 gbox. Always wanted one and it makes me smile. I would like to know more about it but don't know where to begin. Any ideas would be appreciated.
