hi both key fobs have stopped working and will not sink when inserted into ignition can start by using code sequence but both fob's will not sink have tried new batteries no change anybody experienced this or know what it could be ?

help! both key fobs have stopped working on my 4.0L hse 2000 reg message centre says when trying to start engine disabled any ideas ??? both have new batteries in them !!
