My 1988 90 has the following braking problem, very occasionally whilst driving along it will start pulling to the nearside without any braking applied, this becomes progressively worse with hot smell, but then the pulling stops and I find I have lost all brake pressure. I check brake fluid...

Just bought a second hand turbo for my 1988 2.5TD, however the oil feed connector is different to my existing one. My existing pipe is a Screw/banjo while the secondhand one has a brake pipe type connector. Does anyone know when thy they changed and which came first? Many thanks
