Wooooh! We just picked up Landy number 2 - 1984 Series 3 ex Coastguard. She came sweetly home, a lovely drive. So far seems to need a tart up but nothing major (and she was meant to be just for spares but now thinking winter car and summer car!!!!!) Hee hee, wot fun.:D:D:D:D:D

Have a Series 2a engine in series 3 body - set up new distributor to timing marks and runs really rough. Gave up and set up by ear. Run for few miles and temp guage just above middle. Is this norm? :confused:

Hi all any help gratefully received - Our recently purchased Series 3 SWB has developed a problem! :( It has a petrol engine which was put in around 2006. It still has the diesel dashboard. Have fitted a new temperature sender unit and it still reads too hot even when just started up...
