Hello all. Grateful for any advice on my 1985 90 (200tdi) that I just got back from having a new chassis, general 'tidy up' and new Timing Belt. Took it out for a run and it suddenly started an increasingly loud "Tap,Tap" clattering through the rev range. No oil or water loss but white smoke out...
