I replaced the fuel filter today but I'm having problems bleeding the air from the system. I have loosened the valve on top of the fuel filter and have tried pumping the lever in the bottom right of the picture but this seems to have no effect. The lever feels limp with no resistance. Am I...

No oil on the drive but she is looking a bit sticky underneath. Engine oil level is fine. She runs well… only problems is a whining noise noticeable above 45mph and less so when coasting. Any comments/advice would be very welcome. Starting at the rear and moving forward:
